There is always something yummy and sweet going on at the maple farm! In the fall, gather great baking recipes featuring maple from our retail store. In the winter, when we are boiling, you can watch maple sap being boiled into syrup! Spring is a gorgeous season at the maple farm with lots of outdoor space to enjoy as the weather warms up. Year round, our kitchen is hard at work producing maple spread, maple sugar, and bottling our syrup which we invite you to see when visiting during the week.
Our knowledgeable staff is always available to answer guests’ questions and we are eager to share our love of maple.
Want to learn more? Take a tour of the production facility from one of our friendly staff and learn the whole process of how maple syrup is made- from tree to table! See below for further information on tours.
We offer free, guided tours of the sugar house Thursday – Sunday. Tours are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Tours are approximately 30 minutes, including both inside and outside stops.
For groups of 6 or more, please contact Riverside Maple Farms to schedule your group experience.
Tips for Enjoying Your Visit
Bring the family. We welcome guests of all ages, but please keep in mind that we are a working farm with a lot of activity and equipment. You may find that a visit is more appropriate for children ages 8 and up. Click here for frequently asked questions about the farm.
Take a tour. This is one of the best ways to learn about how the sweet treats that you love are made.
Dress to enjoy. While our sugarhouse is temperature controlled we highly suggest our guests take a walk around the property, or sit on our front porch and watch the trains go by. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and, if it’s cold, bringing a jacket.
